Биоконтроль

The Chinese were the first to use natural enemies to control insect pests. Nests of an ant, Oecophylla smaragdina, were sold near Canton in the third century to use for control of citrus insect pests such as Tesseratoma papillosa (Chi Han, ca 300; Nan Fang Tshao Mu Chuang: Records of the Plants and Trees of the Southern Regions).
